The Genesee Valley Detachment awards the leading NROTC midshipman who is doing the Marine Corps option with a engraved plaque, stating their achievement and and a monetary token. It was presented to the honoree by Marine James Emerson, member of the Genesee Valley Detachment.

We are looking forward to see this young man excel as a Marine officer.
