For the year, 2012, the Marine Corps Reserve (Sgt. Brock) contacted the Genesee Valley Detachment
and asked if we could help them with the "Toys for Tots" campaign for this Christmas Season. The Marines of the Detachment
eagerly accepted the task and under the direction our Detachment Adjutant, (Marine Scott Van Grol), went about completing task. Marine
VanGrol had made arrangements at several local living centers and placed the collection boxes. Sgt. Brock and Marine Van Grol
collected the toys and took them to the reserve center for sorting and distribution. |
