Welcome,
My name is Scott VanGrol (Officer in the Genesee Valley Detachment, Marine Corps League,
Rochester, New York). I will be the TFT Coordinator for the Greater Rochester
area for the 2014 Christmas Season.
The Counties to be served through our 2014 Campaign:
- Monroe County - Wayne County
- Orleans County - Ontario County
- Livingston County
The "Toys for Tots" Campaign is being facilitated this year by the Marine Corps League
and the Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Rochester.

GETTING THE TOYS

"Toys for Tots" Young Toy Contributor.
The young man in the photo raised $200.00 by selling cookies. Then he used that money to
purchase toys and donate them to the "Toys for Tots" program.

"Toys For Tots" event at Tavern 58
On Sunday, 7 December 2014, a "Toys For Tots" event was held at Tavern
58 on Gibbs St. The event was sponsored by the ROC City Chivers. This was
another event to collect toys for the "Toys for Tots" program to give less
fortunate children a joyous Christmas.

The "Toys for Tots" Donation Ceremony 2014 was held at the school on 11 December 2014.
A huge thanks to everyone that participated in our "Toys for Tots" event this year!
It was a great success. We are so happy to be able to help out with this great cause!

Scout Shop at Seneca Waterways Council Headquarters
Boy Scouts of America and the local Scout Shop allowed the Marines to use their store a a station
for collecting toys for the program. The Scouts lived up to their creed of "Doing a Good Deed Daily".

The photo shows a few of the members who assisted the Marine Corps League at the "Toys for Tots"
warehouse on 20 December 2014. They helped by packaging toys for shipment to their destination.
They also helped "field day" the warehouse so that the Marines could deliver the toys. The troop is
sponsored by Lakeview Community Church in Greece, New York.
